Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Fuelwatch.ie ("the Service"), operated by Fuelwatch.ie ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Fuelwatch.ie is a community-powered platform that allows users to view and submit fuel prices at stations across Ireland. Access requires a one-time payment of €4.99 and a Google account for authentication.

2. Account

You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity under your account. One account per person. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. Payment and Refunds

• Access to Fuelwatch.ie costs a one-time payment of €4.99.
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe.
• The payment grants lifetime access to the Service for as long as the Service operates.
• Refunds may be issued at our discretion within 14 days of purchase if you have not used the Service. Contact hello@alexsantos.ie for refund requests.

4. User-Submitted Content

When you submit fuel prices, you agree that:

• The prices you submit are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• You will not intentionally submit false or misleading prices.
• Your submissions become part of the community dataset and may be visible to other users.
• We may remove or correct submissions at our discretion.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Submit intentionally false or misleading price data
• Attempt to manipulate leaderboards, badges, or reputation scores
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute data from the Service
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Share your account or access credentials with others

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

Fuel prices on Fuelwatch.ie are submitted by community members and may not always be accurate or up to date. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any price data. Always verify prices at the pump before fuelling. We are not responsible for any decisions made based on the information provided.

7. Intellectual Property

The Fuelwatch.ie name, logo, design, and software are our property. You may not use our branding without written permission. User-submitted price data is contributed to the community under a non-exclusive licence.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Fuelwatch.ie available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. "Lifetime access" means for the lifetime of the Service, not in perpetuity.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fuelwatch.ie and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid (€4.99).

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

11. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email.
