FuelWatch is building Ireland's fuel price transparency platform through voluntary adoption. We're inviting petrol stations and fuel suppliers to register, submit prices, and help bring Ireland in line with European best practice.

How It Works

1. Register your station on FuelWatch.ie — provide your station name, location, and brand
2. Submit your current prices (petrol and diesel) — takes less than 30 seconds
3. Receive your "Price Transparent" badge — displayed on your station profile for all users to see
4. Prices appear live on the map — customers can find you and see your competitive pricing

API Integration (Coming Soon)

For fuel suppliers and station chains managing multiple locations, we're building API endpoints to receive automated price feeds.

Endorsement

FuelWatch has invited the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC) and the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) to endorse the platform as a consumer information tool.

Ireland remains the last major western European economy without mandatory fuel price transparency. Countries that have implemented it:

• Germany — MTS-K (since 2013)
• Austria — Spritpreisrechner (since 2011)
• UK — Fuel Finder (since 2025)
• France — prix-carburants.gouv.fr
